It’s a reality of the times we live in—scammers can target people a mile, an ocean, or even several continents away. These kinds of cross-border scams are on the rise, and working with other countries to help protect you is more important than ever. One way we do that is by being a part of the International Consumer Protection and Enforcement Network (ICPEN), a global network of consumer protection authorities.
ICPEN created econsumer.gov to help people around the world. The site has tips and information and an online form in eight languages to report international scams and fraud. Watch our new video in English and Spanish to learn more about it.
